Does my man really love me?

There are two possible reasons why man is not very open and straight forward in a relationship: Firstly he may not actually care about you or love you as much as you would like.  However the second reason may be that he might find it difficult to express his love for you on the outside, whilst inside he is in fact very loving and caring like a teddy bear.

If you do not understand or cannot work out whether the man you date or are married to actually loves you or not, it must be really a painful experience. However, in order to decrease your anxiety I am going to share with you 7 of the secrets of understanding whether or not your guy does actually care:

1. Does he do some nice little thing every day?

It is the small things that your man might subconsciously do each day that will tell you that your guy actually cares for you, even if he does not speak much or express his love for you. These things could be anything from getting you coffee in the morning, pitching in to help clean up the mess around the house, or doing an additional chore etc.

2. Does he ask what you think?

If he needs to know how to get somewhere, or wants to avoid reading the assembling instructions while putting together a new piece of furniture or appliance, most men avoid asking strangers for help. The reason for this is because it goes against their sense of pride to ask help from people they don’t know. So bear in mind that, if your guy asks your opinion every now and then, or even once in a while, consider it a sure sign that he is saying that he cares for you.

3. Is he possessive about you?

It is a clear sign of deep love and interest in you if your man becomes possessive and jealous when he sees other men being flirtatious or making suggestive sexual comments towards you. Even if your man gets turned on because of another man showing interest in you, it is a good enough indication that your man truly cares about you. However, it is likely that he does not have any interest in you if he shows no emotion in that instance.

4. Does he hold your hand in public?

If your man often tries to hold your hand when in public, it clearly shows that he cares.

5. Does he do what you want to do?

It is a clear sign that shows that he cares when your guy puts his interests second to satisfy and please you like not watching the football match while your favourite soap is on, or dining out at the restaurant that you prefer.

6. Does he ask how you are feeling?

If your man asks how you are feeling after a hard day at work, or when you are going through a difficult experience, these signs indicate how much he cares for you.

7. Does he care about your friends and family?

It shows that he really cares for you if your man is kind and supportive to your friends and family. Even if it is quite difficult to get close to your friends and family, it is a sign that he deeply cares for you if he puts in a special effort.

I am sure you understand that relationships may be very complex, and these signs will help you to work out how your man really feels. If you think there are not enough signs to show that he cares for you, you can fix your relationship by putting in extra effort to draw him closer to you.
